Let’s Talk Money: (What’s Your Credit Like?)
In this day and age people have become very dependent on credit. With that being said it’s crucial that you understand personal credit reports and your credit score. Your credit score and history is one of your most important parts of your financial life. Your credit score follows you FOREVER and it will play a huge role in many major financial situations throughout your life. Many people think that a credit score only really matters when it comes to being approved for a loan or credit card, but it goes far beyond that. A credit score is a statistical method to determine the likelihood of an individual paying back the money that he or she has borrowed. I know that we are all young and were still trying to get a grip on this thing called life but before you go too far and do anything that you may regret in the future, please make sure that you keep your credit score right. Credit is so important, more now than it has ever been. You want that new car? Then you need a good credit score, you want that new house, aparmtnet, credit card, etc? Then you need a good credit score. To make a long story short credit is everything unless you have plenty of cash on hand which most of us don’t so please don’t fall into the trap. When you get paid skip out on those jordans if you have to and pay those bills, take care of those school loans or whatever it may be that you owe, just don’t let anything effect your score or your life will be a lot harder than it needs to be, trust me I know. Scores range between 350 (extremely high risk) and 850 (extremely low risk) so let’s take care of business and be mature so we don’t have to struggle in the future.
