Deadly Mid-Atlantic Storms

On June 30, 2012. Millions across the mid-Atlantic region were hurting Saturday in the aftermath of violent storms that hit the eastern U.S. with high winds. The storm knocked downed trees, killed at least 13 people and left 3 million without power during a triple-digit heat wave. The power is still out in some areas and not expected to be resolved for the next few days.
